PartsSource Expands Workforce in Aurora, Ohio Headquarters

CLEVELAND, August 23, 2021 – PartsSource Inc. a leading online marketplace for medical equipment maintenance parts and services, today announced plans to expand its workforce in Aurora, OH adding 99 jobs, to more than double its existing local workforce. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance at its meeting today.

PartsSource chose to expand in the Northeast Ohio Region versus competitive out-of-state alternatives due to the region’s talented workforce and support of the local community. An economic development team comprised of the city of Aurora, Portage Development Board, ODOD, JobsOhio and Team NEO worked with company executives to ensure PartsSource remained in Aurora.

“The workforce we have today has been essential in successfully expanding our company into new product categories to meet evolving customer needs.” said Robert Sanchez, Chief Human Resources Officer at PartsSource. “The commitment and caliber of available talent in our area is critical to deliver the company’s next phase of innovation and growth.”

PartsSource has experienced steady growth since President and CEO Phil Settimi, MSE, M.D. joined the company in 2014. Today, PartsSource is the leading B2B marketplace for medtech replacement parts and services, and the largest B2B online marketplace in US healthcare. The company provides an integrated suite of cloud software and marketplace technology tools to help over 3,500 hospitals and 15,000 clinics efficiently source on-demand parts and services, and empowers vendors to grow their businesses.

The recently announced investment by Bain Capital will help PartsSource continue to accelerate its growth trajectory, broaden its solutions portfolio, and expand its marketplace platform to serve new areas of healthcare.

“PartsSource has been a valuable member of Aurora’s business community and a wonderful place to work with opportunities for advancement within the company,” said Mayor Womer Benjamin, City of Aurora. “PartsSource is one of our fastest growing companies, and we are pleased at the collaboration with the county, region, and state in helping PartsSource expand in Aurora.

“PartsSource has been a member of the City of Aurora, Portage County community since 2001, and we are excited to see and be a part of its move to the next level,” said Brad Ehrhart, President of the Portage Development Board.

Team NEO CEO Bill Koehler added, “We are delighted to see PartsSource expand in the Northeast Ohio Region, helping us build our reputation as a robust health care innovation cluster. Along with JobsOhio and our local partners, all of us at Team NEO look forward to supporting PartsSource’ s ongoing success.”
